Fall Forecast 2022

Fall Forecast 2022

Hard to believe I’m planning for fall of 2022 already when the last time I posted a Fall Forecast was pre-pandemic! Life has changed a lot since then, but for the better.. I’m a mom now! However, dressing as a mom has its challenges as well (bye-bye old size 27 jeans!) However, I think the best way to update your fall wardrobe is simply updating your accessories, namely shoes. Really, any season, the easiest way to stay current is to get on board with the accessories of the time. I’ll be sharing what I think those will be this year below!

Clogs: Rachel Comey from The Shoe Hive. Shacket: ALC from The Shoe Hive. Jeans: Mother. Shirt: Amina Rubinacci from Donna Lewis. Bag: Louis Vuitton.

Clogs

One word: clogs. They are everywhere. Get a neutral pair any height and price point you’re comfortable with! I wasn’t a fan at first but then started finding some versions I quite simply fell in love with… like these Rachel Comey from the Shoe Hive. They go with jeans, shorts, dresses, you name it.. and really finalize that “cool mom” look. Find my other favs here.

Other fall trends noted above: Shackets are still a thing; 70’s inspired wide leg jeans

Clogs: Vince. Jeans: Mother. Sweater: Tory Burch. Belt: Nili Lotan. Sunnies: Celine. Bag: Donna Lewis.

Try a monochrome look for an ultra-chic look.

Lug Sole Boots

Love the easy of lug sole/Chelsea style boots for fall and even going into winter! These Kiton boots were also sourced locally at a favorite of mine, Donna Lewis. Another trendy but yet timeless shoe, lug soles will never go out of style but yet keep you looking edgy and current while comfortable. Find some other great options here.

Lug Sole Boots: Kiton from Donna Lewis. Pants: Anatomie from Donna Lewis. Jacket: Veronica Beard from The Shoe Hive. Shirt: Zimmermann. Sunnies: Celine. Bag: Louis Vuitton.

Platforms

Platform heels are about to take off, fast. All the major designers are putting their best foot forward (my heart is set on these classics by Valentino). An easy way to look polished and cool, although often an ankle breaker on the Old Town cobblestone! These purple platform heels were found locally at the Shoe Hive! Find some other great options linked here.

Dress: Zimmermann. Shoes: Rupert Sanderson from The Shoe Hive. Sunnies: Saint Laurent.

Hope you also embrace these easy-to-adopt fall fashion trends!
