A Dress For All Seasons
Since No Shop January is FINALLY over *cue angels singing* I wanted to share what I learned when trying to get more out of my wardrobe instead of, well, buying more and more. After the holidays and multiple vacations I was kind of “over” shopping. I had bought a good amount of sale items with the after-Christmas sales and then I knew I needed some new items for our trip to St. Barths the first week in January.
So when I got home, I realized I needed to get creative with my wardrobe. To challenge myself, and also because I loved them so much, I wanted to see if I could style the decidedly “summer” dresses I had purchased for St. Barths in the winter. I mean, how could I wait until it got warm to wear them again? They need to be seen NOW! But I must admit, I was able to get creative and create totally different looks that are very winter-appropriate and dare I say, super chic.
With the rise of sustainability in fashion, I will now be challenging myself even more to style items I already have in different ways in order to really get my wear out of them!
This first look is seasonless! The beautiful Zimmermann-inspired dress that I wore in St. Barths with sandals looks just as good with boots. Linking what I can here!
